BrightGauge alternative
The BrightGauge alternative built for the reports your clients actually see
BrightGauge was the MSP dashboard. Then it was acquired — twice — renamed "ConnectWise Reports and Dashboards," moved behind mandatory ConnectWise SSO, and its standalone support portal was retired in November 2025 while the product is re-platformed into Asio on ConnectWise's timeline.
If what you actually need is client-facing reporting — QBR decks, monthly service reports, an exec summary a business owner reads — you were paying $335–655/mo (plus $98/mo per extra data source, plus a $499 implementation fee) for internal dashboards and building the client story yourself.
QBR Studio starts where BrightGauge stopped: the client-ready document. Connect your PSA, and every client gets a branded business review with an executive summary, a red/amber/green scorecard, and a hardware-refresh budget — from $99/mo flat.
Why MSPs switch
Client-ready output, not gauge-building
BrightGauge gives you gauges and expects you to assemble meaning. QBR Studio's unit of output is the finished review your client opens — summary written, environment graded, budget attached.
No per-datasource tax
BrightGauge charges $98/mo for each data source beyond your plan's allowance — a PSA + RMM + backup stack adds up fast. QBR Studio's plans include data sources flatly, and CSV import is always free.
No $499 setup fee, no implementation project
Self-serve signup to first published QBR in ~30 minutes. If it doesn't earn the subscription in the free plan, don't pay.
Independent roadmap
BrightGauge's future is whatever the Asio platform needs it to be. QBR Studio is independent and month-to-month — it survives by being worth it in any given month.

When to stay
Stay on BrightGauge if your need is deep internal ops dashboards (tech leaderboards, dispatch boards, 40+ integrations) rather than client-facing reviews — that's genuinely what it's best at, and QBR Studio doesn't try to replace wallboards.
FAQ
Is BrightGauge being discontinued?
ConnectWise hasn't announced an end-of-life date. It has been renamed Reports and Dashboards, moved behind ConnectWise SSO, its standalone support portal was deprecated in November 2025, and its features are being rebuilt inside the Asio platform — which is why many MSPs are evaluating alternatives now, ahead of a forced re-platform.
Can QBR Studio import my BrightGauge setup?
There's nothing to import — QBR Studio reads the same PSA your BrightGauge did. Connect ConnectWise Manage (or Autotask/HaloPSA), and your clients, tickets and SLA data sync in minutes. We'll help with migration for free.
